Terms

These terms set out the agreement between you and Nordic Canyon. By using nordiccanyon.com or placing an order, you accept them.

When we say we or us, we mean Nordic Canyon, a small operation run by Josh Murphy. When we say you, we mean anyone who visits the site, contacts us, or buys a product. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the site or order from us. If anything here is unclear, email nordiccanyon@gmail.com before you buy and we will explain it.

You are welcome to browse, read our guides, and shop. In return, we ask a few straightforward things of you.

• Use the site for lawful, personal purposes, and give accurate information when you order or contact us.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape, copy, or interfere with the site or the systems behind it.
• Do not resell our products as your own or present yourself as Nordic Canyon.

We may suspend access to the site, or decline an order, if we reasonably believe these terms are being broken.

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We accept that offer when we send an order confirmation and ship the goods. Until then, no contract exists.

• Prices are shown in US dollars and may change, but a confirmed order is honored at the price you were charged.
• We try to keep product descriptions, photography, and stock counts accurate, though small errors can occur.
• If we find a genuine pricing or description error after you order, we will contact you to confirm or cancel before shipping, and refund you in full if you cancel.
• We may decline or limit an order, including for stock limits, suspected fraud, or a delivery address we cannot serve.

Checkout is handled by Stripe. Your card details are entered directly with Stripe under its PCI DSS compliance and never touch our servers. We receive a confirmation of payment, not your card number.

Payment is taken in full when you order. If a payment is reversed or charged back without first contacting us, we may suspend further orders while we resolve it. Some Nordic Canyon products are also listed on our Amazon brand store, where Amazon's own terms and payment process apply instead of these.

We ship within the United States. Once an order leaves us, it travels with a third-party carrier, and delivery timelines are estimates rather than guarantees.

• We aim to dispatch in-stock orders within two business days.
• Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. If a box arrives damaged, photograph it and email us within seven days so we can make it right.
• If a parcel is lost in transit, contact us and we will work with the carrier to replace it or refund you.
• Delivery to an address you entered incorrectly is your responsibility, though we will always try to help recover the parcel.

If a proofing box is not right for you, send it back. We would rather you bake with the right tool than keep one you regret.

• You have 30 days from delivery to return an unused product in its original condition for a full refund of the item price.
• Email nordiccanyon@gmail.com to start a return. We will confirm the address and next steps.
• Refunds are issued to your original payment method, usually within five business days of the return reaching us.
• A product that arrives faulty or damaged is replaced or refunded at no cost to you, including return shipping.

Return shipping for a change of mind is paid by you. Items returned worn, washed, or without their packaging are assessed individually, and we will tell you the outcome before processing anything.

A Nordic Canyon proofing box is precision kitchen equipment built to hold a steady, controlled environment for fermentation. It supports good baking. It does not replace it.

Results depend on your flour, starter, timing, and technique. We make no promise about how any particular loaf will turn out. Follow the care guidance that ships with the product, keep it away from direct heat sources, and use your own judgment in your kitchen. The box is intended for home baking, not commercial production.

The Nordic Canyon name, logo, site design, photography, guides, and written content belong to Nordic Canyon and are protected by law. You may read and share our guides for personal, non-commercial use with credit.

You may not copy, republish, or sell our content or branding, or use it in a way that suggests Nordic Canyon endorses you, without written permission. Ask first at nordiccanyon@gmail.com. We usually say yes to reasonable requests.

We stand behind our products and describe them honestly. Beyond what these terms and your legal consumer rights provide, the site and its content are offered as they are, without further warranty.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Nordic Canyon is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or a product. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Where we are liable, our responsibility is capped at the amount you paid for the order in question.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Nordic Canyon operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

If something goes wrong, email us first. Most issues are settled quickly and directly once a real person hears about them. Any dispute that cannot be resolved that way will be handled by the courts of that state.

When these terms change, we update the date at the top of the page and post the revised version here. The terms that apply to your order are the ones in effect when you placed it.
